Amy is originally from Northern Virginia, but fell in love with Richmond when she attended Virginia Commonwealth University for English and has been here ever since! During her time at VCU and for several years after, Amy was a retail manager in the cosmetics industry. She began working on her Master’s of Education and teaching high school English, but realized that wasn’t the right path and sought a career that would utilize all her passions and skills. She joined WorkRocket in 2023 and appreciates that she gets to learn every day while meeting new people and identifying their talents. She’s grateful to be able to help organizations and individuals grow and thrive.
In her free time, you’ll find Amy reading on the couch with her cat Diane, taking advantage of the Richmond restaurant scene with her fiancé Mike, and spending way too much money on concert tickets.
